more fun and lively than typical in its class, fairly well built

OVERALL RIDING EXPERIENCE: Linus states "Our most performance-driven, diamond frame bike". Indeed, it's quite fun and sporty. Although fine for commuting and general city use, I've found it suitable for longer rides (50-ish miles).
FRAME DESIGN: I appreciate the nods to modern style on this vintage-inspired bike: Gently sloping top tube, straight fork blades, threadless headset. Was disappointed to find a clunky kickstand mount welded to chainstays behind bottom bracket. Not a big deal, fairly discreet. Cable housing stop for shift cable is curiously on left side of down tube, so cable takes a weird swoop along its path. Not a fluke or error; it's pictured this way online. Not a big deal, just a head-scratcher. Appreciate the external routing on all cables. Recessed brake mount nuts on back of fork and seatstay bridge are a nice touch, gives a clean finished look. Rear dropouts are sturdy, and accessory (rack) mounts are discreet, not standing out on big ears. Not sure a separate hanger is warranted on a bike in this class, but there you go, certainly no harm in that (assuming replacements are available). Standard dropout spacing 100F/135R, so wheel replacement/upgrade should be easy. Fork blade taper is abrupt, not as smooth as you'll see on higher quality bikes, but not particularly noticeable. Front dropouts are a bit flimsy, but that's common, even on higher-priced bikes. Retaining lips are featured, so no fear your wheel will fall off if not tight enough (and no need for those ugly steel retainer clips you see on cheaper bikes). I don't like the pressed divot for chainring clearance. Wouldn't be necessary if this model came with a sensible chainring size. Nobody buying a bike in this class needs 44x11 top gear.
WELD QUALITY: Seems to be fine. I'm a layperson, but I work in a fabrication shop, and I compared to some other manufacturers, so I'm comfortable saying they look okay. I saw a few spots where I thought it looked a bit undercut (less than optimal filler) but really nothing that bad, overall I think it's satisfactory.
PAINT: I was leery of the color, thought it looked a bit too purple online. I've warmed up to it. It's dark blue, with maybe just a hint of purple? I don't like the pinstripes circling fork blades and seat stays. But otherwise I appreciate how simple and clean it is, with subtle branding. Paint quality seems fine, no obvious errors. Seems to be a bit fragile (easily scuffed). I was thinking of testing under the bottom bracket on a few bikes, but can't be bothered. I like the gloss level: satin or matte, not flat like primer, not as glossy as automotive paint.
COMPONENTS: Mine came with components slightly different from online specs. And I've seen others from this year that varied from both the online specs and mine. Thus, I won't waste time commenting on components.
