At Linus, we’re always looking for ways to inspire people to ride more and drive less. Our bikes are not just transportation—they’re a way of life. In collaboration with designer Carlton DeWoody, we’ve taken this philosophy to new heights. Meet The Mulholland, a special edition of our eRoadster, designed for those who seek adventure both on and off the beaten path.
Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Santa Monica Mountains, where Carlton himself can often be found exploring, The Mulholland is a made-to-order electric bike available exclusively through the Linus Showroom in Venice, CA. It’s a one-of-a-kind e-bike that blends high design with serious capability, ready to transform your ride from city streets to mountain trails.
A Custom E-Bike Built for Adventure
Our partnership with Carlton DeWoody goes beyond just a cosmetic upgrade. Together, we unlocked the untapped potential of the eRoadster platform, making it even more capable for off-road adventures. With Carlton’s eye for detail and passion for cycling, The Mulholland is the ultimate hybrid—equal parts urban commuter and trailblazer.
Some of the standout modifications include premium components designed to enhance performance, comfort, and style:
- Sunlit chain for smooth, reliable power transfer
- Velo Orange Seine handlebars for enhanced ergonomics and control
- WTB Sendero 650Bx47 tires for off-road traction and urban agility
- Redshift ShockStop Suspension Seatpost for a smooth ride over bumps and gravel
- MSW Thump Pedals for better grip on any terrain
- Brooks England C17 Saddle for a stylish, comfortable seat
- Brooks England Cambium Rubber Grips for premium handlebar comfort
These upgrades push the eRoadster beyond its original commuter design, offering a smooth ride whether you're carving through city streets, navigating sandy trails, or exploring gravel paths.
Designed for Every Terrain
“The eRoadster was already a capable, fun platform, but The Mulholland unlocks the potential for even more,” says Carlton DeWoody. “With just a few tweaks, we’ve increased the agility and comfort for gravel riding, fire road adventures, and even sandy weekends at the beach. This isn’t a mountain bike, but it encourages riders to take the road less traveled.”
Adam McDermott, Founder of Linus, added, “This custom build is a unique project that allowed us to work with a close friend and a brilliant designer. The result is something truly special, and we’re thrilled to offer it exclusively to our community.”
Handcrafted and Made to Order
Like all things truly special, The Mulholland is available by request only. Each bike is made to order and can be purchased through the Linus Showroom in Venice, CA. This is more than just an electric bike—The Mulholland is a testament to craftsmanship, creativity, and the joy of discovery on two wheels.
